Winter!: Prepare for holiday gaming!
Yeh Its been out a hell of a long time, and not many people play it anymore but for me this game lasted the test of time, where many games fail, even though they might have better graphics better maps, but this game has character, when this game was at its peak the online community was immensely good, like I mentioned graphically It doesnt stand up against the likes Of games say for example on the COD 4 engine, but their pretty cool nevertheless, but the game is challenging and It never got repetitive even if you do the same things over and over again, In terrorist hunt the AI are probably some of the best ive played against Ok, your companions in the Campaign are useless but the enemy are good, if you raise the difficulty to realistic that is, the fact that you can only have four players online in terrorist hunt, may seem like a draw back but any more and it would of took the challenge and satisfaction out of the game. Also Online competitive matches can be pretty cool, the difference between all other shooters is, this really does require a certain amount of skill or you simply will not survive whereas COD 4 and its successors you can pretty much get used to the controls and then your away, In Vegas 2 you cant do this, It takes alot of practice. But if you played this game and never had a headset or whatever you never really experienced the game, I could never understand that a game that relies on Tactics, never really led people to the conclusion that you need a headset! Overall this game in the present isnt that good anymore but its still worth a play for sure, But when it came out it was one of, if not the best game, of that year. 5/5 For overall Experience.
